A woman's body has been found inside the Srijan Community Forest in Belbari Municipality-10 of Morang. On Tuesday afternoon, a woman who had gone to pick fiddlehead fern (niguro) reported the police after seeing the dead body of a middle-aged woman.
According to DSP Rajan Karki of District Police Office Morang, the identity of the body has not been revealed. The body has been sent to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for post-mortem.
The body of a woman wearing a blue-white butte kurta and red-black dharka salwar was found, police said. The police said that the incident is being investigated.
