Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayankaji Shrestha and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank discussed the issue of investing in the infrastructure sector in Nepal. The ministry said that the discussion was held after the bank showed interest in investing in the infrastructure sector. The representative of the bank said that they will invest by choosing a suitable project.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha inquired about the possibility of building infrastructure with the bank's subsidy. He asked the representatives of the bank to invest in the targeted schemes of the government.
