Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Raghubir Mahaseth held a virtual meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore Vivian Balakrishnan today.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and also issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the occasion, Minister Mahaseth thanked Singapore's Foreign Ministry, Temasek Foundation International and its partners for providing much needed medical supplies to Nepal to combat the second wave of COVID-19.
The Singaporean minister expressed his government’s solidarity with Nepal in its fight against the pandemic.
The first batch of crucial medical supplies provided by Temasek Foundation International arrived in Nepal on 22 May 2021. Likewise, the second batch of medical supplies to be provided by the Singapore Foreign Ministry and Temasek Foundation International will arrive soon.
