KATHMANDU: An earthquake hit Bajhang today at 11:20 am, with its epicenter located in Rayal, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.
The quake registered a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale.
This follows another earthquake on November 21, which measured 4.2 on the Richter scale and occurred near the Annapurna area, situated on the border of Kaski and Manang districts.
The Centre has stated that earthquakes have been occurring in recent times in Nepal which is at risk of tremors as it is located in the Himalaya region, a seismically active zone.
