The Election Commission has approved the agenda for the upcoming elections of representatives and provincial assemblies. The commission meeting approved the election agenda for the upcoming November 20 election.
According to the approved schedule, the office of the Chief Election Officer will be established in 77 districts and the office of the Election Officer in 88 places for the posts of 165 members of the House of Representatives and 330 members of the Provincial Assembly. There is a program of nomination registration on October 9.
According to the agenda passed by the Commission, the Chief Electoral Officer and Election Officer will be appointed on September 27 and the office of the Chief Election Officer and Election Officer will be established on October 7. According to the Commission, the printing of ballot papers will start from October 14.
Similarly, the schedule has been fixed for voter education, transportation of voting material, the appointment of polling officer, assistant polling officer, delivery of ballot paper, handing over of election material to the polling officer, and campaign period of the political party from October 14th to November 17th. If the silent period starts from November 18, the election will be held on November 20.
