The elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and provincial assembly held today were conducted in a peaceful and systematic way except for some incidents, the election observers said.
The General Election Observation Committee (GEOC) Nepal said there was encouraging participation of people with physical disabilities, senior citizens, and voters of different classes, communities, genders, and status in the elections.
General Secretary of GEOC Krishna Man Pradhan said political parties, candidates, and voters’ restrained, constructive and calm manner helped contribute to the peaceful happening of the elections. GEOC had deployed the poll observers across the country.
Likewise, the National Election Observation Committee (NEOC) also deployed 1,800 observers to observe the polls
