The snowfall of last Wednesday has proved to be a boon for hoteliers, tourism entrepreneurs, and farmers. Hoteliers are surprised and happy to see tourists coming to enjoy the snow in cold weather after a long time. Domestic tourists have reached Todke, Ghodepani, Gajane, Malika's Dhuri, and Munal to enjoy the snowfall. With the arrival of tourists, trade and businesses in the area are booming.

Areas like Todke, Ghodepani, Ramche, and Karwakeli are now covered with snow. The local traders are happy as the snow will remain in the area for another two to three days and tourists will come. There was light snowfall in the area on November 26. According to Tirtha Paija, a local trader, the number of tourists decreases when the snow melts.

"Even though it is extremely cold, tourists have still come to see the snowfall. Now the business may be gaining momentum," said hotelier Januka Gurung. According to the locals, large crowds were seen playing in the snow on Wednesday and Thursday in different places of North and West Myagdi. Similarly, more than 100 domestic tourists visited Todke on Thursday to enjoy the snow.

Due to the snowfall, hoteliers and farmers are also happy. Farmers say that the livestock business will also flourish after the snowfall increases grain and grass production. He said that irrigation would not be good as there would be less rain in the highlands and the rainwater would flow away immediately.

Farmer Indra Bahadur BK said that the production of food grains would increase if the plants are irrigated to the depths as the snow only melts after a long time. He said that after the snowfall, grass grows on Fusra hill, making it comfortable for domestic animals. That is why the farmers are happy after the snowfall. According to the Meteorological Department, it will be cold for a long time and snow will fall to the lower region as the air carrying water vapor continues to enter Nepal from the Bay of Bengal.
