Agricultural materials have been distributed to 97 farmers of Shivaraj Municipality-3 of Kapilvastu. According to Ward Chairman Teklal Sapkota, 61 people were provided with spray tanks, 26 with bird machines, and 10 with water pumps.
According to Sapkota, the materials were distributed with the investment of 50 percent farmers and 50 percent of the wards. He said that the lifting irrigation scheme has been completed in Mainar-Bulakiya for the vegetable pocket area.
He said that pump sets have been managed in other areas. He further adds that the district has already sent the details of the damage caused to the farmers by the unseasonal rains and is taking the initiative to provide relief to the farmers.
