The five-party alliance on Thursday continued a meeting to settle the seat allocation for the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly.
A decisive meeting of the alliance is underway to give a final touch to the seat allocation, said Keshab Raj Joshi, member secretary of the taskforce formed to conclude seat allocation.
According to the election calendar, candidacy registration should be done on October 9. The alliance is required to conclude the seat allocation beforehand to meet the deadline for candidacy registration.
The meeting has been attended by top leaders of the coalition parties including Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party Upendra Yadav and Vice Chairperson of the Janamorcha Durga Paudel, it has been said.
