In the last three months, the government has expelled 133 foreign nationals from 33 countries involved in various illegal activities from Nepal.
Most of those deported from Nepal are Chinese and American citizens.
According to the department, the government has decided to expel 25 Chinese and 19 American citizens from the country within a period of 3 months. Canadians and French citizens are the third largest number of people expelled from Nepal after Chinese and Americans. During that period, the government expelled 10 Canadians and 10 French citizens.
According to the department, in the last three months, 9 people were expelled from Britain, 4 people from Pakistan, 1 person from Algeria, 4 people from Austria, 2 people from Australia, 1 person from Belarus, 2 people from Brazil, 2 people from Chile, 1 person from the Czech Republic, 3 people from Germany, 2 people There are citizens of Indonesia, 5 people of Ireland, 1 person of Israel and 3 people of Italy.
Similarly, 3 Japan, 2 South Korea, 1 Mexico, 2 Netherlands, 3 Philippines, 1 Romania, 3 Russia, 1 Spain, 1 Sri Lanka, 1 Sweden, 1 Switzerland, 3 Thailand, 3 citizens of Uzbekistan, and 4 citizens of Vietnam have also been expelled by the government.
