Province 1 Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai has said the government will extend utmost help to rehabilitate those who are affected by the fire incident that occurred at Dobhan of Taplejung district.
CM Rai told the households that governments of all layers were together with the fire survivors at such loss.
CM Rai said it at a programme organised to provide relief materials. He inspected the fire site. Rai expressed commitment that local, provincial and federal governments would extend assistances from their sides for rehabilitation and long-term management of the fire survivors.
He assured that the demands of the fire survivors would be addressed. The local levels were urged on the occasion to send details on loss to the provincial governments.
The households who lost properties in the fire demanded well-managed market, development of physical infrastructures, loan on low interest for business at Dobhan.
CM Rai handed over the relief materials for basic purpose as food grains, pulse, cooking oil, salt, tent, blankets.
It was informed at the programme that those having destruction of the house would get Rs 50,000 and others would get Rs 30,000 as a relief.
In the fire that occurred on Tuesday, 50 houses were turned into ashes. The total loss is estimated to be around Rs 400 million, according to Meringden Rural Municipality.
