Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has said that the government was working as per the people's expectations.
At a news conference organised today to make the cabinet's decisions public, Minister Sharma argued that the government was working in a speedy manner and remarkable achievements have been made on service delivery, law formulation and economic reforms.
"We have recently announced the common minimum programme. The government has taken its pace. Several works have been performed. Creating hopes on citizens is a great job," Minister Sharma added.
She also said that there is no dispute in the ruling coalition partners adding that the parties in the alliance are in frequent dialogue.
Minister Sharma, who is also the government's spokesperson, said that raising concerns in and outside the parliament on the government's performance is a laudable job and this issue should be construed positively whether the ruling or oppositions make it.
