The hearing on a habeas corpus petition related to the Lalita Niwas land grab will continue on Wednesday at the Supreme Court (SC).
The hearing at the SC on Tuesday took place in a division bench of Justices Prakash Kumar Dhungana and Nahakul Subedi but could not complete citing lack of time.
Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut, former Election Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Shah, businessman Min Bahadur Gurung and former employee of Land Revenue Office Dharma Prasad Gautam of had filed the petitions at the SC against their arrest in connection to the involvement in the land scam.
The SC is hearing six different petitions together on this case.
