Lawmakers have drawn the government's attention on various contemporary issues.
During a special hour in today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Ram Krishna Yadav of the Nepali Congress stressed that the government should immediately take initiative to provide fertilizer and seeds to farmers.
He also urged to bring cargo rail in operation in order to make Janakpur-Jaynagar railway service effective. Yadav also drew the government's attention not to discriminate against martyrs.
Similarly, Raghuji Panta of the CPN (UML) blamed that no achievement was gained in the government's 100 days and the government failed to expand the cabinet for a long time.
CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Surya Man Dong commented that the opposition party made unnecessary objections to the government while Lekhnath Dahal of the same party urged the opposition party not tio be biased while evaluating the government.
Lekhnath said, "Good works of the government should be appreciated as well as weaknesses should be pointed out."
Saying Nepal has been described as the centre of spirituality in different international forums, Manish Kumar Jha of Rastriya Swatantra Party urged the state to pay attention to it.
Although the country is depending on the remittance sent by Nepali migrant workers, attention has not been paid for their security, opined Deepak Bahadur Singh of Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
Likewise, Pradeep Yadav of Janata Samajbadi Party, Rajndra Prasad Pandey of the CPN (Unified Socialist), among others also drew the government's attention on other various issues.
