The House of Representatives (HoR) will be meeting today. The session has been scheduled for 1 pm.
In the first meeting after the reinstatement of the House through a verdict of the Supreme Court, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had faced the vote of confidence on July 18. Deuba, who is also the president of Nepali Congress, received 165 votes in his favour while there were 83 votes that were cast against him.
A total of 249 parliamentarians were present then in the House of Representatives for the vote of confidence that PM Deuba had sought. Meanwhile, one lawmaker had decided to stay neutral during the vote of confidence motion.
