An Indian national has died while climbing the world's third highest mountain, Kanchenjunga. According to the District Police Office, Narayanan Ayyar, 52, died while reaching an altitude of 8,200 meters.
According to the police, the deceased had gone from Pioneer Adventure to climb Kanchenjunga Mountain at an altitude of 8,586 meters. A team has been mobilized to rescue the body of the deceased, said Nivesh Karki, Executive Director, Pioneer Adventure Pvt.
