Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Tae-Young Park presented credentials to Ram Chandra Paudel, President of Nepal, on Monday, June 12.
Ambassador Park appreciated the close cooperation between the two countries in various fields since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1974 and said that he would make efforts to develop further bilateral relations in celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year.
President Paudel welcomed Ambassador Park's appointment to Nepal and said that the two countries have maintained a good relationship since establishing diplomatic relations. President Paudel added that as there is significant room for further cooperation between the two countries which share democratic values, he hopes that the relationship between Nepal and Korea would be further improved during Ambassador Park's tenure.
