Lawmakers have registered amendments addressing the agreement signed between the government and
Confederation of Nepalese Teachers (CNT) on the School Education Bill, 2080, which is under consideration in the House of Representatives.
Seventy-two hours was granted to HoR members after the conclusion of discussion on principles (from October 8 till 4:00 pm) to register amendment.
The amendment has been registered with the coordination of whips of major
political parties in order to incorporate the deals signed with CNT and Relief quota teachers' central committee.
A total of 150 amendments have been registered. Speaker of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Yekram Giri told RSS that the amendment proposals would be tabled by integrating them.
An agreement was reached to facilitate amendment in different points during the talks held with CNT after it launched Kathmandu-centric agitation after the government registered the
School Education Bill in the parliament.
