Nepali Congress leader and lawmaker Dr Chandra Bhandari got discharged from the Kirtipur-based Burn Center on Friday following the surgery for complications due to aftereffects of burn injuries.
The burn aftereffects had caused problem in folding his fingers properly. A 15-member medical team performed a surgery for the complications. He underwent a surgery on August 16.
According to the hospital source, the leader's health had improved and he was discharged. However, he has been advised to observe isolation for two weeks citing an infection risk.
Dr. Bhandari underwent a surgery on his hand performed by a team of medical professionals, including Dr. Timothy Sproul.
