KATHMANDU: Light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is forecasted for several areas in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudur Pashchim Provinces, as well as a few spots in the hilly areas of other provinces.
This weather pattern is attributed to the partial influence of westerly winds combined with local winds active across the country, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
Today, the weather will be partly cloudy in the Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudur Pashchim Provinces, as well as in the hilly regions of the country, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mainly clear skies.
Later tonight, conditions will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas and partly cloudy to mainly fair elsewhere.
Light rain with thunder and lightning may occur in isolated spots in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces.
