The Council of Ministers of Madhesh province has been reshuffled following the participation of Nepali Congress and CPN (Unified Socialist) in the government.
On the recommendation of Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, Province Chief Hari Shankar Mishra has constituted the Council of Ministers with Chief Minister Yadav holding the portfolios of Internal Affairs, Communications and Law, Forest and Environment and Labor and Transport.
Likewise, Krishna Prasad Yadav has been appointed the Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development, Sanjay Kumar Yadav as the Minister of Finance, Mahesh Prasad Yadav as the Minister of Education and Social Welfare, Govinda Bahadur Neupane as the Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Basant Kumar Kusawaha as Minister without portfolio, Surita Kumari Sah as Minister without portfolio, Birendra Prasad Singh as the Minister of Health and Population, Singasan Sakha Kalwar as the Minister of Energy, Irrigation and Drinking Water and Sunita Yadav as the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
Similarly, Sheikh Abul Kalam Azad and Sanjay Kumar Yadav have been appointed as ministers of state while Rahbar Ansari has been appointed minister of state of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, according to a statement issued by the Province chief's office.
