Malaysia has reopened recruitment for Nepali workers. The recruitment process has resumed after the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In a press conference, Malaysian Home Minister,COVID-19 Hamzah Zainudin had announced opening of recruitment of foreign workers. The workers must bear the expenses including lebi deposit and Quarantine expense.
Kathmandu based Malaysian Embassy has also informed about the opening of recruitment for Nepali nationals. Malaysia had stopped recruiting Nepali workers after the start of coronavirus pandemic in the first week of March, 2020.
According to the new rule, the workers must stay in quarantine for 7 days in Malaysia. They will only be allowed to enter via the Kuala lampur based International Airport.
