Man arrested on charge of raping minor in Tanahun

A man was arrested on charge of raping a 6-year-old minor from Jhinuwatar in Byas Municipality-9 in Tanahun district on Sunday afternoon.

The accused has been identified as Prem Bahadur Thapa (55), a local resident of the same municipality in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, Kalesti-based Area Police personnel nabbed the accused.

Further investigation into the matter is underway, said the police.
