The Manakamana cable car that reaches the famous religious place of Gorkha Mankamana Mandir has resumed operation today. The cable car, which was shut down due to a problem with the power supply, has resumed regular operation after 11 days due to damage to the panel board.
Owner Rajeshbabu Shrestha informed that the cable car was repaired and put into operation by technicians from the Austrian cable car manufacturer company Doppelmeyer. Since the repair work was completed last night, the cable car was operated this morning. Shrestha said that the panel board of the cable car, which was damaged due to the disturbance in the power supply, had to be changed. Station manager Ujjwal Sherchan informed that the cable car was in regular operation after installing and testing the equipment. Mankamana cable car was completely shut down after the fire broke out in the panel board. After 11 days of closure, the cable car has been put into operation and there has been a rush of devotees going to the Mankamana temple by taking the cable car.
