Sirijunga Rural Municipality of Taplejung has kicked off a health service campaign with the slogan ‘Me Healthy, My Village Healthy’.
The rural municipality has decided to provide radiography service at Tellok-based primary health center for 24 hours.
Srijunga Health Section chief Sanjeeb Singh said the rural municipality would bear all the costs involved in the operation of the service along with the perks and benefits of the human resource.
In the past, the residents of the rural municipality had to go to district hospital in Taplejung district headquarters for radiography and lab service by spending huge chunk of money. Singh said that the local people are happy to receive these services in their own rural municipality.
