At a program organised by Kirant Yakthung Chumlung, District Working Committee, Lalitpur, on Saturday, Minister Bhusal shared that the replacement bill brought by the government on Friday was an indication of the pro-public work.
"The bill has respected the families of those who sacrificed their lives in the movements by placing an arrangement of relief. The budget has been brought laying emphasis on relief to the citizens facing problems due to coronavirus. It has also come up with a plan to provide employment to jobless and propel economic and physical infrastructure development", she added.
The Energy Minister assured that the budget of the next fiscal year would also be brought addressing the nation's welfare and people's sentiments. She shared that the Ministry has taken a decision to provide free electricity to the families consuming only 20 units of power in a month with the objective of providing relief to poor and needy people.
Minister Bhusal opined that the electricity tariff has been reduced to slash the trade deficit resulting from the import of LP gas and increased consumption of power produced in the country.
Similarly, the Central chairperson of the organisation, Yograj Bomen, stressed the need of protecting all diverse communities.
Likewise, Lalitpur Chair of the organisation, Ram Bahadur Khakhkhim Limbu shed light on organisation's activities. On the occasion, Minister Bhusal also inaugurated a guest house constructed on the premises of Limbu Museum in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-14.
