A meeting was held between Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Sher Bahadur Kunwar and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimad.
In the meeting, the safety of Nepali workers working in Saudi Arabia was discussed. Minister Kunwar emphasized on the problem of Nepalis going to work in Saudi Arabia and the need to cooperate for their safety.
He said that since Nepal could not sign a bilateral labor agreement with Saudi Arabia on time, the areas of labor migration could not be managed. Similarly, he informed Ambassador Haimad that the labor agreement between the two countries will be signed soon as the work of the labor agreement between the two countries has been completed.
He said that fgovernment there should also help to send skilled manpower from Nepal to Saudi Arabia.
