Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Aman Lal Modi emphasized collaborative efforts to build the nation.
Addressing the 'Pratibha Dabali' (Talent Forum) programme initiated by his ministry for the civil employees to showcase and nurture their talents, Minister Modi said, "None can build the country alone. Everyone needs to join hands to build this country."
Stating that he had assumed the leadership of the Ministry with innovative and fresh ideas, Modi shared that action-plans were in the offing to take forward bureaucracy in an innovative manner so as to make public service delivery more effective and swifter.
According to him, his Ministry had taken some far-reaching decisions in the favor of good-governance, he informed that all the work related to the Federal Civil Service Act was sent to the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
Furthermore, he shared that the process to do away with the provision of appointing Officiating in the public office had been taken forward and those receiving promotion routinely and those officers and under-secretaries making it to civil service passing through the public service exam were deployed at the local level.
According to him, the details of additional employees in all ministries were sought and those not rendering service from the designated duty station were booked.
