Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has urged the university to pay attention to the consolidation of the affiliated campus.
Speaking on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Thapathali Engineering Campus, he said that higher education would not improve unless the university was modernized. "Educational institutions where 80 per cent of the country's students study are not of traditional style. The present age should be appropriate," he said.
Minister Poudel said that the country has entered the era of construction of tunnels, lifting irrigation, new bridges and highways. Giving information that the physical infrastructure of more than 40 campuses of the country will be built from this year, he said that the latest results can be given only if there is an action plan, efficiency, diligence, discipline and energy.
