According to the Meteorological Department of the Department of Water and Meteorology, the monsoon has entered Nepal from the eastern part of Nepal before the average date this year.
The department has issued a special bulletin today stating that this year's monsoon system has arrived in Province No. 1 of Nepal today. In other parts of Nepal, the monsoon is expected to start in a few days. Although the average date for the onset of monsoon in Nepal is June 13, the department's website had earlier mentioned that the monsoon usually enters Nepal on June 10.
The monsoon enters from the eastern part of the country and gradually extends to the west. The four-month period from June to September is called the monsoon period in the South Asian region. In this regard, it is mentioned in the bulletin that the weather forecast department is continuously monitoring this year's monsoon system and is updating it regularly accordingly.
