Kushma Municipality of Parbat is going to give a monthly allowance to the students who get 'A' plus marks in SEE from public schools. The program passed by the Municipal Council came into effect with the implementation of the city's policies and programs and budget for the current year. Mayor Ramchandra Joshi informed that Kushma municipality has arranged monthly allowances to increase students' interest in education and motivate and encourage them to study in public schools.
Joshi said that a monthly allowance of Rs 2,000 has been started to be given to the students. He said that he believes that this will help the students to get energy in their studies and also alleviate the financial problems of underprivileged children. According to the municipality, this allowance will be given until the student passes SEE and completes class 12. A procedure has been made in such a way that in case of failure in class 11 by bringing 'A' plus in SEE, the allowance will be cut. Mayor Joshi said that although the allowance is given to the children of public schools, it is not given to the students studying in institutional i.e. private boarding schools. ---
