As part of the preparation of the national census 2078, the Chitwan district census office here organised training for supervisors at seven local levels. Office Chief Yagya Murti Bhandari informed that the supervisors would begin listing in the field from September 15 to October 4.
A total of 107 supervisors would be mobilised in Bharatpur Metropolis while 30 in Ratnanagar, 19 in Khaireni, 17 in Rapti, 15 in Kalika, 13 in Madi, and 9 in Ichchhamanakamana Rural Municipality.
As per the listing, the supervisors will fill up the community survey forms at ward levels.
Similarly, the result of 857 enumerators for the census would be published on September 26. The training would be provided to the enumerators on coming October. They are scheduled to conduct a census from November 11 to 25.
A district coordination committee has been formed under the coordination of the Chief District Officer in district and under the coordination of the chief administrative officer at a local level.
Bhandari further shared that the first census after the country got federalism would also collect data on agriculture. Based on the data collected by the enumerators, the final result would be published by the end of Mid December.
Chitwan district has 579,984 populations as per the national census 2011.
