Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has said that it is necessary to develop the religious, cultural and tourism sectors for the sustainable development of the Far West.
Inaugurating the 'Far-Western Regional Festival-2078' organized by the Attaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, he said that cooperation, cooperation and coordination of all parties involved in the development and expansion of the region's economic transformation is essential. He said, "It is necessary to develop the tourism sector for the development and prosperity of the country. For this, cooperation, coordination and collaboration of all concerned parties is required."
Minister Ale said that development work is being done in the region to attract thousands of tourists in the main tourist and religious places of the Far West including Khaptad, Badimalika, Ramarosan, Saipal, Shaileshwari, Ugratara, Malikarjun and Ningla Saini. He said that he would help.
He expressed confidence that hundreds of tourists would reach the tourist and religious sites soon as the federal government has allocated a budget for the expressway connecting Urai Taklakot Bhanjyang via Khutiya, Bipinagar, Gadsera, Dipayal, Sayal and Bajhang of Kailali. Minister Ale said that the government has been working to revive the tourism sector which has been plagued for the last two years due to the high risk of coronavirus infection.
Chairman of the Association Ashok Devkota urged Minister Ale not to take initiative to provide necessary public land in Attaria for the construction of playground and stage for the development of the sports sector.
"Development of the Khaptad region is an unavoidable need now", Minister Ale said that the development of the Far West would be transformed if only the unique gift of nature, Khaptad and Badimalika could be developed.
Arriving in Khaptad today to inspect and observe the major tourist destinations Khaptad and Dipayal Airport, he said that the development of the Khaptad region is indispensable for the development and prosperity of the Far West.
He said, "Millions of tourists will come here every year if the beautiful infrastructure can be developed in Khaptad, so I will be active for the development and expansion of this region."
