Kalpana Pariyar recently broke the national record for the Women's 10m rifle event in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. She grabbed a score of 616.8 at the qualifying round.
While in Tokyo Olympics she broke a record made by herself. She previously scored 614.9 in the last segment of the South Asian Games. Though she finished in 4th place.
On the road to broke records, she scored 102.2,105.4,101.0,104.1,103.4 and 100.7 in the first to sixth-round during SAG.Out of 50 athletes she placed in 46th place which made her not reach the finals.
She is the only player to get wild card entry from the Nepal side. Also from the Tribhuwan Army Club, Trained from Olympic's Scholarship. It is believed to get good results from her and fellow athletics
Ongoing Olympics has 5 Nepali players for 4 different games.
