A bomb found this morning in Banke's Khajura has been defused by the Nepal Army. According to Shyam Krishna Adhikari, Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, the bomb was found in a pressure cooker in the main chowk of Khajura Bazaar in Khajura-3.
According to him, the Bhairav Prasad Battalion of the Nepal Army was informed to mobilize the security personnel and diffuse it after receiving the news of a suspicious object in the main street of the market. The road was blocked for some time after a bomb was found in the market in Khajura under the Nepalgunj-Gulariya road section. He said that the traffic was restored as soon as the army defused the bomb.
