Nepal participated in the Doha International Agricultural Exhibition held in Doha, the capital of Qatar. More than 50 countries were represented in the exhibition. The exhibition lasted for 5 days.
The Nepal Pavilion at the exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Naresh Bikram Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to Qatar.
At the exhibition, 6 companies, including Herb Production and Processing Company Limited, which is wholly owned by the Government of Nepal, had stalls.
The Nepal Embassy in Qatar informed that a significant number of visitors visited the Nepal Pavilion during the exhibition period.
Meanwhile, Nepali Ambassador Dhakal has signed a memorandum of understanding in the presence of representatives of Nepal Business Association Qatar and Export Business Federation of Nepal.
The main purpose of the MoU is to facilitate Nepal's export business as well as to promote trade between Nepal and Qatar.
