Police in Makawanpur district on Monday afternoon arrested a youth on charge of sexually abusing a nine-year-old girl from Lilakhel in Thaha Municipality-6.
The accused has been identified as Raju Balami, a 26-year-old resident of Thaha Municipality in Makawanpur district.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Palung-based Area Police Office arrested Balami. Balami allegedly lured the minor to his house and abused the minor.
Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
