A man was murdered in Itahari Sub-metropolitan City-2 of Sunsari district on Monday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Sunsari, Arjun KC told NepalNews that Keshav Karki (50) of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-2 was killed by piercing his body with a metal rod while he was sleeping at his home on Monday afternoon.
DSP KC also informed that police have held Karki's neighbour Jibnath Regmi (51) in connection to the killing.
Preliminary investigation points to family feud as the cause of the killing, the DSP shared.
