Police in Siraha district Tuesday arrested a man in possession of a pistol and one round of bullet.
The arrestee has been identified as Baleshor Yadav (55) of Pariyarpur in Sakhuwanankarpatti Rural Municipality-3 in the district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of security personnel deployed from Lahan-based Area Police Office, raided the house belonging to Yadav and seized the pistol and cartridge, said police.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
