KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology's Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that westerly winds are currently influencing weather patterns, with local winds also playing a significant role in the hilly areas of the country.
Today, the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will experience partly cloudy skies, while the remaining areas will be mostly clear in the afternoon.
There is a chance of light rain in one or two locations within the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, with mainly clear skies elsewhere.
The Department also warned of the potential for dense fog in the Tarai region during the morning and night over the next 24 hours, which could temporarily impact agriculture, tourism, mountaineering, and both road and air travel. They advise taking necessary precautions.
