A pedestrian was killed when a Scorpio hit him at Bode Bersain Municipality-5 Janjar of Saptari on the Postal Highway today. The deceased has been identified as Subedar Miya, 60, of the same place, police said.
Miya, who was critically injured in the collision, was rushed to a hospital for treatment. According to the District Police Office, he died today while undergoing treatment. The Scorpio, heading east, had hit Mia who was on foot. Police said that further investigation is underway into the accident.
