Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said he was always committed to protecting the achievements made with people's longtime struggle.
Issuing a press release on Friday, Chairperson Nepal viewed the election will be a competition between those willing to protect the achievements and those willing to act arbitrarily. "We're for continuous efforts for protection of the achievements made so far and for progression," he reminded, expressing hope that people would vote for progressive force and for protection of the achievements.
He further said the communist movement got a severe dent in Nepal because of the leadership of CPN UML. People's indifference was growing on communist movement and rightist opportunism, Chairperson Nepal emphasized.
"We revolted after realizing that it was impossible to correct UML leadership. Now, we're coming before you with election symbol 'Pen'," Chairperson Nepal reminded
