Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has pledged to provide Rs 50,000 each to earthquake survivors in Bajhang to build a temporary shelter.
The Prime Minister, who arrived at Chainpur, the district headquarters of Bajhang, Friday to inspect the quake-affected areas said the government is committed to addressing the needs of quake survivors.
On the occasion, he said the affected family will receive additional monetary aid from Rs 15,000 to 20,000. According to the head of the government, structures damaged by Tuesday's quake in the district will be rebuilt.
He also announced Rs 200 thousand to the family of Gunamati Dhami, 40, of Jayaprithvi municipality-11 who lost her life in the quake.
According to the Prime Minister, the loss details will be collected and the government would ensure additional assistance to the affected on the basis of the loss assessment.
