Australian Assistant Foreign Minister Tim Watts, who is visiting Nepal, had a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
In the meeting held at Baluwatar residence this morning, he expected the continued support of the Australian government and people in the development and prosperity of Nepal.
The Prime Minister expressed concern about the situation and problems of Nepali students in Australia. On that occasion, Prime Minister also invited the Prime Minister of Australia to visit Nepal.
In the meeting, there was a discussion about the economic prosperity of Nepal, the commercialization of the agricultural sector and the development of agriculture-based industries, and support in the promotion of the tourism sector.
Minister Watts praised the contribution of the Nepalese people saying that they have made a good impact in Australia. He assured that the support of the Australian government and people will continue in the campaign for the development and prosperity of Nepal.
