Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that his third prime ministerial stint would earn pride even for the future generation.

Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 26th Dil Bahadur Ramtel Memorial Day at Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality in Gorkha on Sunday, PM Dahal vowed that his third stint as PM would focus on mega projects of development and good governance, so they would remain unforgettable in future too. "Current government has shouldered the responsibility to prevent a further crisis of Nepal's economy and make efforts to restore normalcy in the economy," PM Dahal reminded, adding that the establishment of good governance is equally imperative. The commitment he made at the parliament meeting on good governance and prosperity after he took office would be fulfilled at any cost, he underlined.

Dahal however viewed that with only two months in office, his government has recorded some positive results in economic indicators. A high-level administrative reform commission will be formed and unnecessary mechanisms and human resources removed in a bid to ensure good governance and quality reform, the PM shared.

PM Dahal reiterated that he would live the rest of his life for good governance, prosperity, and the country's development, for which he wanted cooperation from all Nepali people.

On a different note, Dahal viewed he was committed to creating an atmosphere of national consensus, thereby holding the President's election on March 9 with unanimous support. "Talks are underway with CPN UML. It will be very good to have unanimous voting for President. Efforts are underway for it," he shared.

On the occasion, PM Dahal vowed to implement the commitments he made before voters during the election in Gorkha like upgrading and blacktopping of roads.

Similarly, he also honored the parents of Dil Bahadur Ramtel, the first martyr of people's war. The parents are mother Chari Maya and father Sete Ramtel. They were offered shawls.

Then 10-year-old Ramtel was killed in police firing in 2052BS.
