Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has directed the relevant agencies to mobilize the body of Nirakar Pandey of Jhapa, Birtamod Municipality who died in a severe fire in a hotel-casino in Cambodia to Nepal as soon as possible. Pandey died in a fire at a casino in Cambodia near the Thailand border. He jumped from the 12th floor of the casino to save his life.
Prime Minister Dahal has given that instruction to the Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal. 19 people including Pandey died in that fire. Prime Minister Dahal expressed his deep sorrow over the incident and offered his heartfelt condolences.
A video message sent by the 40-year-old Pandey to his son in Nepal after the fire in the building where he was working went viral.
