Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the parliament will be run with dialogue and consensus. Addressing the nation today on the occasion of the completion of six months of the government formed with the support and participation of five political parties under his leadership, Prime Minister Deuba said that the problem in the parliament would be resolved.
Stating that the government is working on the basis of the common program of the joint government, he said that the government has an obligation to hold three elections within a year. Prime Minister said, “It is the responsibility of the government to hold three elections within a year. I would like to request all concerned bodies to complete the preparations for the election.” He also said that the government was moving ahead with the pre-election preparations.
PM Deuba added that the process of upgrading Nepal from a least developed country to a developing country has moved forward.
Talkin about the recent surge of COVID cases in the nation, Prime Minister said that the high risk of infection due to the new variant of COVID-19 has added a new challenge and there is a compelling situation to continue the economic and social activities while controlling the virus at the same time.
