Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has apprised the House of the progress made in the development of the Tusharpani-Koteghar-Tinker section under the Mahakali Corridor Road Project.
As he said, the section has the presence of 80 per cent of hard rocks and the Nepal Army is working on it. The use of explosive devices is expected to shorten the time for completing the work, he added.
During a direct questionnaire session with lawmakers in a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today, the Prime Minister assured of budget allocations to projects being undertaken by the Nepal Army.
Similarly, the Prime Minister briefed the House about the progress regarding the implementation of the Uttarganga Reservoir-based Project in Baglung.
He said the feasibility study and environmental impact assessment of the project were undertaken by the Project Development Department under the Nepal Electricity Authority. The government aims to complete the project in the next four years, he added.
