Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived at his home district Jhapa today to participate in several programmes including the foundation stone laying ceremony of the China-Nepal Friendship Industrial Park.
Upon his arrival at Bhadrapur Airport via the Yeti Airlines flight, the PM was welcomed by Province1 Governor Somnath Adhikari Pyasi, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Basanta Kumar Nembang, federal and province lawmakers and Nepal Communist Party central leaders.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate several development projects including other 31 bridges along the Madan Bhandari Highway.
He will lay a foundation stone for the Nepal-China Friendship Industrial Park, according to Prime Minister's secretariat member Hom Bahadur Thapa. He is scheduled to fly back to Kathmandu from Bhadrapur this evening.
