Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's visit to Doha of Qatar has been canceled.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal was scheduled to leave for Doha, Qatar on March 3 to participate in the Fifth Conference of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) taking place there.
PM's press coordinator Surya Kiran Sharma said that PM Dahal's Doha visit was canceled because of the upcoming presidential and vice-presidential elections in the country as well as the PM's busy schedule for different meetings.
The Nepali delegation under the leadership of PM Dahal was scheduled to return home on March 6 after attending the Conference.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the PM was also expected to participate in some programs of the United Nations on the sideline of the Conference.
